The idea is the following:
Functionality: We have an embedded device that acts as wireless access point (WiFi), DHCP and TCP server. We want to send data to it via TCP socket from a mobile phone. That is why we need an Android application that automatically connects to the AP upon opening.
Design: The app needs to have 2 tabs in the UI.
Tab 1: Four buttons named ('1',' 2', '3', '4'). The on-click action should be opening a client TCP socket to the TCP server and sending byte array.
Tab 2: Config - where we specify the SSID, WPA2 password, server IP address for the connection (as string fields).
At the end we will need a brief description of the TCP socket part - so that we can adjust the values in the byte array as per our needs.
