The FridgePal application aims to tackle the common problem of food and beverages exceeding their expiration date in the fridge, and thus having to be thrown away. When the user does their grocery shop, they will enter into FridgePal the items purchased and the relevant date of expiration (This will be done via drop-down menus and text entry). When the user consumes the product, they will mark it as eaten and it will no longer show as a present item in their inventory.
FridgePal will list the user’s current inventory in order of days left prior to expiration.
