Job Description:
There is an existing app called a volume remote control. Need to enhance visuals and descriptions of the current app, and make it more useful by tackling the core drawbacks
Design
- Design the pages which we need - I will need to approve the design and may have minor edits to it
- Screen 1 - Welcome screen / first time login screen providing a tutorial. Tutorial has an image / icon and text at the bottom
- Sub-screen 1: Step 1: Put one device in control mode
- Sub screen 2: Step 2: Put one device in receive mode
- Sub screen 3: Step 3: Select the device name you want to control from the control device
- Sub screen 4: Step 4: Adjust the volume as needed
- Screen 2: Select mode
- This screen has two big buttons
- Control mode (Select this if you would like to control volume from this device)
- Receive mode (Select this if you would like this device's volume to be controlled)
- Then there is a Help option - button needs to look different than the buttons above
- Screen 3: Control mode. This will have two screens
- Connect: This shows a list of connected devices. The app should be able to automatically detect any devices which is running this app and is in bluetooth range. User should be given the option to select the device
- Control volume: This screen has two options -
- A simple slider which is used to increase or decrease the volume
- Mute button. pressing the mute button gets the slider to 0 volume
- Button option at the top left of the screen to go back to previous screen
- Screen 4: Receive mode
- This screen has two options -
- A simple slider which is used to increase or decrease the volume
- Mute button. pressing the mute button gets the slider to 0 volume
- These controls are also active and can be changed
- Button option at the top left of the screen to go back to previous screen
- If there is no connection - a message should be displayed which says - waiting to connect to another device with the same app in control mode
- If there is connection - a message should be displayed which says
