I am looking for a mobile application developer to create a patch or application for Android that will allow a URL placed/received in the content of a SMS on an Android handset to become active.
The link: [url removed, login to view] when placed in and SMS and received on an Android handset is active;
but when a link like [url removed, login to view] is sent in the body of an SMS Android does not recognize the link
The native SMS messaging application included with Android (G1, myTouch, Droid, etc.) has a flaw or an unintentional oversight, that when viewing an SMS that has a malformed link (one that does not end with .com / .net / .org) the application does not allow for the link to be active. Active is defined as being able to activate the link and resolve the mobile browser to the link address.
Payment will be given only after successful completion and tested at my end so don't expect any upfront please.
Bids under $100 will be entertained.

Hi, I have previously also bid on this project when you posted it earlier. Am still interested in it. If interested let me know. Thanks. [url removed, login to view]
