create a video overlay with moving objects on two other videos

The short explanation: I am wanting to add animation to an existing video. The animation must be in the specified sequence. If you have experience in metal or ore mining this would be a big advantage.
Some more detail:
I have two videos that contain a sequence of dirt excavations. If possible, I would like to combine these so that they are both displayed at the same time ie. one above the other on same screen (so both are visible; not superimposed).
I then need to overlay each with small moving equipment icons. The equipment must move in the correct sequence with the dirt excavation. I will provide this sequence in excel. The equipment will need to go between each of the first two videos.
In addition to this I have another video of associated numbers that needs to be embedded within one of the original videos.
The end result will be a single video containing both the original videos (one above, one below) with moving equipment icons in them and embedded with another video of numbers/graphs.
The final video must not lose any image quality as it will be displayed on a large screen.
