I’m in the process of creating a visual novel, Memoir of Inflorescence. I was considering releasing a demo soon and I wanted a small animation done for a teaser/trailer video, as well as a small, animated sequence in the beginning to the game. I’m looking for a very simple, anime style; I don’t want to spend too much and the animations I need should only need to be 1-2 minutes long. Flat colors or minimal shading is fine. I’m really open to all sorts of styles, as long as you can draw humans, flowers, and scenic backgrounds. The style of the animations won’t really reflect the style of the rest of the art in my VN. I can send you a bunch of references! I’m not too sure how much animation like this would cost, but I’m willing to work with a lower-medium end price range, but know I’m not looking for anything on the high end. I was hoping to have it done before April 15th; just let me know whatever is realistic.
It would start with an animation of flowers in a field blowing in the wind (3-5 seconds)
A side view girl holding a sun hat on her head,
her hair and dress blowing in the wind (3-5 seconds)
The girl bends down and she is in a clear spot on the ground, where it is mostly dirt, but there is a small flower, so she reaches out to pick it (5-7 seconds)
Her hand inches closer to the flower (3 seconds)
Flower kind of moves around like it's alive and the girl scrambles backward (4-6 seconds)
These are now unrelated vvvv ^^^^
A little vine begins to grow, grab, and wrap around the girl's leg (4-6 seconds)
Vines start coming out of the ground, grabbing the girl, growing over her; she is screaming and they cover her until only her face is peering out and it cuts to black (10-13 seconds)
All of these will be like separate shots. Just let me know if you think you would be able to do it and the pricing. I don't need an extremely detailed style; probably flat color with minimal shading. Thanks a ton!
