Description I need one physical prototype assembled from a complete, tested design. This is a hands-on build — soldering, basic fabric mounting, and loading provided code — with no design work. Everything you need is written down: a parts list (~$80), a wiring diagram, a belt layout drawing, the two microcontroller programs, and a three-step verification procedure. What you'll build A wearable elastic belt carrying six small 3V coin vibration motors, each glued into a small rigid pod and Velcro-mounted so it can be repositioned. The motors are driven by a BBC micro:bit v2 through a ULN2003 driver chip, powered by a 3×AA pack, housed in a small pouch or box on the belt. A second micro:bit v2 serves as a handheld controller and talks to the belt over the micro:bit's built-in radio. The belt is adjustable with a side-release buckle and slider. Circuit summary: six motor leads to the ULN2003 outputs, six driver inputs to micro:bit pins via an edge-connector breakout, shared ground, separate battery packs for motors and board. That's the whole circuit. What you'll get from me Parts list with quantities and notes Wiring diagram and belt layout drawing Both programs (MakeCode JavaScript — paste and flash) Verification checklist Deliverables The assembled belt unit and handheld, working, with fresh batteries, shipped to me. A short phone video (a minute or two) showing: each of the six motors firing individually from the handheld; the "pair" pattern firing two motors; and the three timed patterns (accelerating, fixed-rate, single) playing on one motor. A photo of the wiring before it goes into the pouch. Your parts receipts, if we go labor-plus-parts. Requirements You have soldered motors or sensors onto a wearable or fabric item before — please include a photo of something like that in your proposal. You own or will buy micro:bit v2 boards (not v1 — the belt logs data to flash, which v1 can't do). Clean work: heat-shrink on every joint, leads routed along the belt with a little slack at each pod. US-based, so the rig can get back to me within a week or so. Context, if you're curious It's a test instrument for a student research project on vibration-based guidance for blind runners — participants will wear it in a lab study, which is why the verification video and clean joints matter. Happy to answer questions before you start.

Hi there, I have carefully reviewed your complete build requirements and understand that this is a hands-on assembly project rather than a design task. I can follow your existing BOM, wiring diagram, belt layout, provided MakeCode programs, and verification procedure exactly. My background in mechatronics and electronic prototyping includes microcontrollers, ULN2003-style driver circuits, vibration motors, soldering, wiring, connectors, battery-powered systems, and mechanical/electronic integration. I am comfortable assembling the six-motor wearable belt, programming both micro:bit v2 boards, heat-shrinking and securing all connections, mounting the repositionable motor pods, and completing the requested functional verification. I can also provide the pre-enclosure wiring photo and demonstration video covering individual motors, paired operation, and all three timing patterns before shipment. Since the design and software are already complete, I can move quickly once the documentation and parts are available. Please send me a message with the BOM, wiring/layout drawings, and programs so I can review everything and get started. Best regards, Samuel tshibangu

Hi, I can help assemble and test this wearable vibration prototype exactly according to your provided design, wiring diagram, and verification procedure. I have hands-on experience with electronics prototyping, soldering, microcontrollers, wiring, sensors, and mechanical/electronic integration. For this build, I can handle: * Assembly of the six vibration motors and ULN2003 driver * micro:bit v2 wiring and programming * Clean solder joints with heat-shrink protection * Cable routing with appropriate slack at each motor pod * Belt, Velcro pod, pouch, and battery-pack assembly * Loading and testing the provided MakeCode programs * Individual motor, pair-pattern, and timed-pattern verification * Photos/video documenting the completed assembly * Parts receipts if required I would follow your three-step verification procedure carefully and check the wiring before enclosing everything in the pouch. One important point: I am based in Vietnam rather than the US, so I would need to confirm whether international shipping and your required one-week turnaround are acceptable. If that works for you, I can start immediately once the parts/design package is provided. Best regards,

Assembling the six vibration motors into the fabric belt presents a risk of motor detachment under movement. I handle this by using a strong, flexible adhesive on the motor housing, then reinforcing the glued pod to the fabric with small, robust stitching, so it holds firm. I will solder the ULN2003 driver chip and motors to the belt's wiring diagram, mount the BBC micro:bit v2 and AA battery pack into the provided pouch, and carefully attach the pods to the belt following your layout drawing. I will also load the provided code onto both micro:bits, so your wearable vibration motor prototype is built. Does the belt layout drawing show specific attachment points for the motor pods, or is that repositionable? Send the complete parts list and wiring diagram. My 5.0 rating across 10 reviews on here, and Preferred Freelancer status matter because they show consistent delivery.

✅ Wearable micro:bit V2 Vibration Belt Prototype Assembly ✅ I can assemble the complete wearable vibration belt and handheld controller from your provided parts list, wiring diagram, belt layout, programs, and verification procedure. Since the design is already complete and tested, I would focus strictly on the physical build: assembling the six 3V vibration motors into their pods, wiring them through the ULN2003 driver to the micro:bit v2, mounting the electronics and battery packs securely, and completing the belt assembly with clean routing and appropriate slack at each motor. I would use heat-shrink on soldered joints and keep the wiring organized so the finished unit is clean, secure, and suitable for repeated lab use. I can also flash the provided MakeCode programs to both micro:bit v2 boards and follow your three-step verification procedure. Before shipping, I can provide the requested wiring photo and verification video showing the individual motors, pair pattern, and timed patterns operating from the handheld controller. I can also include parts receipts if required. I understand that this is a hands-on prototype build rather than a design project, and I can follow your supplied documentation precisely.
