Research paper - best practices in the education of entrepreneurial skills and competences

We need a 30 page research paper about the best practices available on the field of the development of entrepreneurial skills and competences, specifically targeting school students of the 14-20 yrs. age group, attending a period of vocational and educational training (so called „VET students” according to EU terms). We are particularly interested in the on-line courses and blended learning programmes operating on the field. Your job will be: - to conduct a desktop research on the field of blended- and on-line learning programmes targeting VET students (you can include here ANY thematic fields, not only that of the entrepreneurial skills); - to identify the methodological elements of these programmes that have proven to be successful in approaching the target group, attracting and maintaining their attention and motivating them; - to create a CATALOGUE of the blended- and on-line learning programmes studied, the studies and papers available in the subject and the course materials accessible on the web, with special attention to the free materials. Then: - to conduct a desktop research on the field of blended- and on-line learning programmes of ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCES targeting ANY group of students; - to identify the methodological elements of these programmes that have proven to be successful in presenting the subject and getting positive feedback from the students; - to create a CATALOGUE of the blended- and on-line learning programmes studied, the studies and papers available in the subject and the course materials accessible on the web, with special attention to the free materials. Finally: - to narrow the focus of your research to the matching points of the two groups of programmes studied above, and - to provide a DETAILED DESCRIPTION of the best blended- and on-line educational programmes teaching entrepreneurial skills and competences to school students of the 14-20 yrs old age group, attending a period of vocational and educational training, aka „VET students” - to identify the methodological elements of these programmes that have proven to be successful in approaching the target group, attracting and maintaining their attention and motivating them; - to identify the methodological elements of these programmes that have proven to be successful in presenting the subject and getting positive feedback from the students; - to create a CATALOGUE of the blended- and on-line learning programmes studied, the studies and papers available in the subject and the course materials accessible on the web, with special attention to the free materials. The final product of your desktop research work will be a research paper of 30 pages (1,800 characters/page, spaces included). The research paper should have the following structure: - Introduction - Presentation of best practices in the European Union (cca. 9 pages) o On-line and blended courses with diverse subjects targeting VET students; o On-line and blended courses of entrepreneurial skills and competences targeting diverse audiences ; o On-line and blended courses of entrepreneurial skills and competences targeting VET students. o Catalogue of resources - Presentation of best practices in the USA (cca. 9 pages, same structure as above) - Presentation of best practices in the rest of the world (cca. 9 pages, same structure as above) - Conclusions An important indicator of the success of your work will be to identify at least 18 best practices, out of them at least 6 best practices of on-line and blended courses of entrepreneurial skills and competences targeting VET students. If there is room for that in the paper, you can shortly describe off-line best practice trainings as well, but they should NOT be included in the target indicator of 18, respectively 6 best practices. The estimated time needed to conduct the research and to finalize the research paper is 15 days.
