Develop a POS web application ASP.NET & VB.NET
Budget $750-1500 USD
Job Description:
• Programming should be in ASP.NET & VB.NET as MVC.
• You can use any technology or tool like Ajax, Angular, and JavaScript.
• You can use either VS 2017 or 2019.
• Use the current DB with any modification required should be document in SQL script file.
• The attached picture and YouTube links are only for clarify the idea of the system but the freelancer has all the freedom to make the design and functionality.
• It will more discussion during the implementation of the project with the freelancer.
• Can provide videos of the current desktop POS system if needed.
Business Requirements:
1. Interface should be in both Arabic & English.
2. Project should be easy to read and to copy for additional pages.
3. Design should be responsive to run in any device PC, tablet or mobile.
Mandatory pages:
1. Login in page
a. Using user name and password.
b. Option to reset the user password either by email or by mobile number.
2. Item Page which should have master-details data ( fields should be as in DB ):
a. Add
b. Update item
c. Delete Item
d. Print barcode
e. Search for Item
3. Shifts Management Page ( fields should be as in DB ):
a. Open new shift and update the opening balance of the cashier.
b. At the end of the shift user can close the shift then system show the total amount of the invoices in that shift and the details of MOP ( Cash – Visa )
c. Show the hold invoices.
d. User cannot open a new shift until close the current one.
e. User can print the shift details as receipt after closing the shift.
4. Invoice page( fields should be as in DB ):
a. It should allow to user barcode scanner to enter items
b. When user entered an existing barcode, system should show the item price ( bring it from Items table ) and quantity as one.
c. Show option to the user to enter quantity.
d. Show option for the user to use shortcut for saving. Ex. F10
e. Show option to hold the invoice ( using shortcut ex. F4 ) and create a new invoice and easy way to go back the hold invoice to continue.
f. When user save the invoice, it should send the invoice directly as receipt to the printer.
g. Show option to show existing invoice by searching by invoice number.
h. Show option to search for item by any part of the name or barcode.
i. After user finish entering the items and click save, it should show a form to enter the payment method which could be multiple ( part cash and part as credit card )
j. System should calculate the VAT automatically based on the VAT rate from VAT_PERIODS table
5. Refund Page ( fields should be as in DB ):
a. First user enter the invoice number of the invoice need to be refunded.
b. It should allow to user barcode scanner to enter items
c. System should check the item entered is exist in the invoice or not.
6. Reports:
a. Daily invoice report
