We are in the final stages of development for our new software and require the implementation of a few API's to get/put data. Our software is built on aspx/.net and will run on a Windows server (if that matters). Forgive my crude descriptions as I don't know all of the correct technical terms for what I am seeking.
USPS (Postal Service) Address Format (May also be called 'AIS' - Address Information Services)
After we enter customer/vendor data into the address fields we want to query the US Postal Service via their API to then retrieve the standardized format of the address including the 9-digit zip code. The correct standardized version would then replace the version we entered. We already have the developer/api access available to us.
Google Contacts API
Using the Google Contacts Data API we want to send all vendor contact data (Name, Phone, Email, etc) from their vendor profiles to Google Contacts. For new vendor profiles it would create the Google Contact, for existing profiles it would update the contact if any information [url removed, login to view] vendor profiles are on our software and we utilize the Google Apps/Business platform.
When entering a customer or vendor e-mail we want to verify that the e-mail is correct. I understand there are many ways to do this but I do not have a preference. As long as the e-mail has been checked to ensure accuracy it will be sufficient. Ideally this would occur in real time after tabbing off of the e-mail field.
