I need to be show EXACTLY how to use Authentication and Authorization to do the following.
Asp.net vb website created with Visual Studio.
Root website [url removed, login to view] must have anon access to all .ASPX files at this level. So an unauthenticated user can view pages and submit webforms.
SUBFOLDER "PrivateFiles" must have restricted access to users authenticated by Forms to a DIFFERENT SQL server named "PSQL". The purpose of the subfolder is reporting - I want to view the webform submissions by logging in to the website. But normal users should not have to.
The authenticated users will have user name and password stored in he asp.net SQLdb controls set up using Visual Studio Login forms and by the reg_sql command.
The SQL server is NOT on the webserver and, not a database file in the website.
I need configuration strings.
I need the exact ASPX code for the [url removed, login to view] files.
There should be two if I understand it properly. One at the root, one in the PrivateFiles folder.
But I need the exact layout with everything, so I can see how it works.
Anyone that does this for a living should be able to tell me how and what I'm doing wrong in about 10 minutes
DO NOT BID if you need to skype, talk, yammer, discuss, email or upsell your firm. I don't care.
Either you can do this, or you can't.
Not taking bids above $30 USD for something so simple.
I'm tired or I'd merely read another day.
Let's see if Freelancer can solve a problem. Usually, I post something, read some more and solve it myself by learning on my own.
Surprise me. Show me DO.
