I have a written a .aspx web page, written in VB, that accepts a computer name in an input box, looks up the MAc address of the PC in a database, then sends a Wake-on-LAN "magic packet" to that computer's MAC address to "wake up" the computer from standby mode. Microsoft has a .aspx web page from their Windows 2008 TS Web Access feature that accepts as input a computer name. The user clicks on the "connect" button to connect to that computer via remote desktop. I've taken the out-of-the-box Microsoft page and added a "wake-up" button. The "wake-up" button, at present, does nothing.
Unfortunately, I'm not a developer and I don;t really know what I'm doing. I need someone to look at the code in my first page (the wake-on-lan) page and incorporate it into the modified Microsoft TS web page. I just need the same code to fire when a user clicks on the "wake-up" button.
Both files are attached for reference. Search for "<!-- awoodworth" for my comments in the code to see where these changes need to be made.
