76019 Simple Appointment Reminders

This is a small project, Required Urgently. The project is a web-based 'Appointment Reminder System' that I want to use mainly as a way of improving my knowledge of ASP.NET, VB.NET and MySQL, with 'real-world' applications. (If necessary MS SQL 2000 could be considered instead, but would prefer not). (By the way, I have used ColdFusion with SQL, VB3, Winbatch - so am not a total beginner) Code must be designed to a professional standard, (e.g. data validation etc) as if it were a serious project. Most importantly it must be very, very well documented. In fact, commenting of code must be done in great detail i.e. 'over the top'. The system would have a login/authentication and session management.. (I have uploaded a small diagram to help with explanation) There will be a number of ‘Owners'. Owners can define 'Clients' and then define appointments with these clients. To encourage use, the 'Detail' database entry should be attractive, quick and easy to use. (For example, when retrieving the 'Client' details when entering a new appointment, a simple search should be available e.g. enter the first one or two letters of the surname will bring up possible clients....) The software will regularly check and if necessary, the 'Owner' will be reminded by email (the whole purpose of this project) up to twice before the appointment (The two period will be defined in hours in the 'Reminder_Period' fields. ) Owners will be able to view a list of appointments by 'Client' or 'Period'. Owners will be able to Add/Edit/Delete appointments. There will be a password protected 'Admin' section that would allow the creation of a database, the addition/editing/deletion of 'Owners' I have suggested table details and relationships, but you may wish to improve upon this (the relationships mat be wrong... :-). An added bonus would be that there is likely to be further work for the bidder e.g. explaining code I don't understand. Possibly adding further functionality. There should be admin that does stuff like: Create new Owners. Create a blank database. Any automatic numbering should start from 1000 If dates are typed in manually, please note that I am in the UK so date format should be [login to view URL] or similar *or selectable both UK and US if possible). PLEASE ALSO SUPPLY YOUR HOURLY RATE FOR FURTHER WORK e.g. for small changes, further explantion for me to understand the code, if necessary.... Full, extensively documented source code to be supplied. Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components unless OKed by me first.)
