but i need a cheapest system.
the desktop application will get the details / datas from the localhost database, desktop version is using for report generation and for printing. ( basically can do these on web based also, but our college requirement is we must develop a desktop system also,

This application will be generated with the use of an online section as well as a platform section too. This type of application will be applied in the agriculture fields, such as rubber and coconut. Although the sub processes has the same underlying concept as the main processes, each sub process will have a set of distinctive features. Since this application is generated with a platform and an online base, the agricultural sector will be equipped to carry out the necessary processes efficiently. The application will have five main modules consisting of the database modular, inventory control modular, ordering processing module, auction module and sales catalog module. System need to communicate with the relevant mangers therefore the system will make use of a new communication method called "SMS (Short Message Service) ". Since this application is also online based the customer need not be present in the company premises to carry out the auction. They can access the discussion board and to get the product rate to carry out the auction.
ASCS with E-Auction system will allow users to register online and search the specific customer/buyer details inside the database easily by specifying the search criteria and if the target item is found, the above information on the item would be displayed on screen. Suppliers can get registered and then they will receive the updated auction catalog and get access to post the price in the discussion board for each auction they make.
This system also allows managers to login online to their accounts and view the report on weekly updated sales and auction details. The inventory control displays the stock level of each item instantly (Warehouse). It also displays the stock level at stores (Private). If the stock level is down, system will send message to warehouse manager via SMS to update the stock. And then the system will automatically update the inventory when stocks are replenished or removed. It sends out alerts the relevant managers about items that are below a predetermined level of stock. It also allows the department users to check whether an item is in stock via SMS in real-time. The department will have the power to update the inventory remotely, which allows the system to always represent the stock level exactly. The relevant users (receptionists) can enter the order details online to the order processing system and send that particular order to the warehouse through the network.
2.3.5 Overview of the Auction system
Developing auction system platform and online allow people to negotiate over the buyers and selling goods in the form of auction. In manually company may carry out the auction in company premises. The innovation of auction online system guarantees bid placed are solvent, making for the more serious market place.
All the possible users of the system first register with the system, once they have register they can participate for each activity they have for auction. Then they will be able to buy, sell, or brown the auction availability for the moment. When customer want to initiates auction buy informing the process of the good auction, they have post the minimums bid price and reserve price for the goods, system will give deadline for posting bids price. They system will start with period of time for auction, and normally duration of the auction, [url removed, login to view] days. The suppliers that authority to cancel the auction if they want. But to cancel the auction start date has not been passed, auction has not already start in the system.
Customers that wish to follow an auction must first join the auction. Note that it is only possible to join an active auction. Once a customer has joined the auction, he/she may make a bid, or post a message on the auction's discussion board (visible to the seller and all customers who are currently participants in the auction). A bid is valid if it is over the minimum bid and if the bidder has sufficient funds, the customer's credit with the system is at least as high as the sum of all pending bids. Bidders are allowed to place their bids until the auction closes, and place bids across as many auctions as they please. Once an auction closes, the system calculates whether the highest bid meets the reserve price given by the seller and if so, the system will send mail to supplier information about action detail.

ASCS is flexible solution for supporting auction through platform and online. It allows people to negotiate over the buying and selling of goods. The innovation with this system is that it guarantees bid placed are solvent, making for a more serious marketplace.
All potential users of the system must first enroll with the system, once enrolled they have to log on to the system for each session. They can do the auction availability of the system. If buyer have credit with the system that he have create and if he have update the credit that is used as security on each and every bid. If customer want to increase their credit by asking to debit a certain amount from their credit card. For this there should be high secured system for that.
System will informed to customer when auction done, therefore they can reserved there good for minimum bid price. Normal start period for auction will be 10 days. The supplier has right to cancel the auction, if the auction has not started to run in the system.
