Frontpage2003, Access2003 SP3.
I'm trying to do a query that has three tables inner-joined, with the right-most table left-joined on a fourth table. The fourth table is a query result of two inner-joined tables (filtered for name=John, e.g.).
I can't figure out how to do this as a single SQL statement (so I can build it in front page), since it results in ambiguous inner and outer joins. I've tried nesting and subqueries, but can't tell if my coding is wrong, or if I just can't do it that way.
I think I can solve it by having an include that runs a "create table" function as page is opened. This would creating needed fourth table based on the variable passed in the url (e.g name=john) and then I can include the new table in the DRW SQL statement that will have the left-join I want on that page and display the fields I desire.
I do not know the sytax to add to the frontpage code window to achive either the single line SQL solution, or the create table solution.
Can you assist?
