This is a re-post of a project that was posted but the provider did not follow through with the project.
We have a custom HelpDesk and LiveHelp system built in ASP that mainly uses VBScript. The install is designed to allow the end user to install the system in Access, MS-SQL or MySQL.
What we need is the following, all of the below changes/additions need to work in all three DB formats:
1. Fix the currently broken LiveHelp system so it works with all 3 DB formats. It is coded to work with all three but there are some bugs that need to be fixed such as nested frames, wrong session vars, etc (fix a max of 36 pages).
2. Fix the reports page so that it works with Access and MySQL. Currently it only works with Access. The page does load the script that parses the DB type and changes the # to ' for dates etc but the parsequery has not been implemented in the page (1 page to be fixed).
3. We have created a new feature of Service Level Agreements (SLA). The add, delete and update SLA pages have been created but I need an ASP page created that will have the entries in the SLA table in the DB ran againt the applicable tables. In other words, I need the SLA implementation/checking page created and added to the main page so it runs at each login (1 page to be created).
4. We would like the reports ASP page to be enhanced to include graphs and charts with the reports (1 page to be created).
The HelpDesk and LiveHelp are functional and a fairly large system consisting of roughly 130 ASP pages. As stated, I need a coder that is willing to fix the LiveHelp, fix the reports, change the reports to include graphs and charts then implement the SLA.
This project is not too tough and should not take more than a week including testing (we would do it ourselves but we do not have the time). We have been burnt before and will pay upon project completion. Actually, the LiveHelp and reports where supposed to have been completed under another project but it was not and I paid in full. This time we need it done and done correctly from a coder that is willing to install, diagnose and troubleshoot on all three DB types (Access, MS-SQL and MySQL).
I also require a few pages in the HelpDesk to be looked at that are not functioning correctly. They are email handling pages that when a trouble ticket is created, the user, department members and admin are emailed. Right now it seems as though there is a bug in the system in which people are not getting emails.
I also need the department cell in the DB to be changes to allow for more enties (ie change from txt to memo).
