I have 2 projects in asp and I have no time to work on them. I need the projects back within 48h. Please do not bid if you are not able to deliver on time! There is no need for design. I only need the programming.
Here are the instructions:
a) Give the user a list of items to purchase with a price displayed. Include these in 3 categories with 3 items in each category (you choose the types of products). Fill the product lists using arrays. Make the lists out of radio buttons so the user can only choose one item in each category. Hint: Use radio buttons with field names corresponding to the type of item they are choosing and have their values equal the display name of the product.
b) Once they have selected some items, display a confirmation page showing their choices. Ask the per- son if the choices are correct. If the are, proceed to step 4. If not, let them go back to the first page and choose their items again. Once they are done, store the items they have chosen as session variables. Hint: Display only the summary, but store the values of the form fields as hidden fields.
c) If the person chooses to go back and re-select their items, re-populate the radio buttons with their previous choices.
d) Once they confirm their choices, let them enter their personal information to complete the purchase. Trim all the user input for extra blank spaces and convert to uppercase.
e) Provide a summary page of the information they entered and the items they choose. Display the product choices from the values of the session variables. After you have
displayed the summary clear all their session variables.
a) From a sub-directory in your web folder, build a page of images using the FileSystem Object that will allow a visitor to select any of the images for purchase. Make sure you name the objects in a logical manner so it will be easy to use these names for ordering. (Make the image file names descriptive so you can use them without the file extension as the names you display to the user) By using the FileSystem Object you can add more images by simply dropping them into the correct folder. Hint: use the "inStr" function and the "Left" function to remove the extension from the file name. Take the text included on this page from a plain text file using an include statement.
b)Make your image gathering is part of a subroutine so you can access this from other pages if you desire.
c) Store the items the user has selected in a cookie so that if they leave the site they can retrieve their choices up to 7 days after their last visit.
d) Create a summary page to display their choices. Use the actual images to show the user what they chose. If they want to change their choices let them go to your main page again. Re-populate the check boxes on the main page according to their previous choices. On the main page, if this is their first visit during the current session, display the choices that were stored in a cookie if there is one present.
e) Once their choice is made, display a form for them to enter their personal information. Store this information in a cookie. If their is already a cookie present, pre-populate the form for the user so they don't have to enter the information again. Trim all the fields. Convert the email field to lowercase and all others to uppercase. Calculate a total price based on a fixed price per image plus PST and GST. Show the break down for the subtotal and each tax.
f) When they submit this information create an email and send it to the visitor and to yourself.
g) Include a counter on your home page to count the number of times your home page has been viewed. Note: This functionality can not be done by including a [url removed, login to view] file with your project. This is be- cause you don't have access to the root directory of your web application. Hint: Do your counting at the Application level.
