Want to launch a specialised B2B platform that serves the renewable-energy sector by bringing manufacturers, suppliers, EPCs and service providers together in one searchable hub. The core objective is simple: help companies find each other and start conversations that lead to business. Project Overview We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer or development team to build a modern B2B industry platform focused on the renewable energy and solar industry. The platform should combine three core components within a single ecosystem: Industry Directory – companies, manufacturers, suppliers Product Database – technical product pages and specifications B2B Marketplace – wholesale listings published by distributors and traders The goal is to create a scalable digital platform where users can discover companies, products, technologies, industry news and wholesale offers. The platform should be designed as a data-driven web application, not a simple marketing website. Industry Focus The initial focus of the platform will be the solar and energy storage industry, including: Solar panel manufacturers Solar inverter manufacturers Battery energy storage systems (BESS) Solar batteries Solar EPC companies Solar installers and integrators The platform should be built with the flexibility to expand to other clean energy technologies in the future. Core Platform Modules The platform will consist of three interconnected modules: 1. Industry Portal A public platform where users can explore companies, products, technologies and industry information. 2. Product Database A structured database of renewable energy products with technical specifications and documentation. 3. B2B Marketplace A wholesale marketplace where distributors and traders can publish product offers. Key Platform Features (MVP) Company Profiles Each company profile should include: company name logo company overview headquarters location website and contact details company type (manufacturer, distributor, EPC, installer, integrator) associated categories and technologies Companies should have the ability to claim their company profile and manage their information. Product Pages Each product page should contain: product name and model product description product images technical specifications product category associated manufacturer downloadable documents (datasheets) videos (optional) Products must be linked to the manufacturer company profile. Categories and Industry Structure The platform should organize content into structured categories such as: Solar Panels Solar Inverters Battery Energy Storage Systems Solar Batteries Solar EPC Companies Solar Installers Each category should have a dedicated landing page optimized for SEO, displaying companies, products and related content. Industry Content The platform should include editorial content such as: industry news technology insights company announcements product launch updates videos and interviews Content should be connected to relevant companies, products and categories. Company Dashboard (Company Admin Panel) Companies that claim their profile should receive access to a company dashboard. From this dashboard companies should be able to: edit company information update contact details upload company images and logo add and manage product listings upload documents and datasheets publish company updates or news manage videos and media Future improvements may include: analytics dashboard lead management premium company profiles B2B Marketplace Module The platform should include a wholesale marketplace where distributors and traders can publish product listings. Each listing should include: product name manufacturer brand seller company quantity available price (optional) warehouse location / country product condition (new, used, refurbished) description and images contact supplier / request quote Marketplace pages should support filters such as: product category manufacturer country quantity condition Sellers should also have seller profile pages displaying their active listings. Design Concept Request To better understand the developer’s vision for the platform, we would appreciate a simple design concept or wireframe illustrating the general layout and structure of the following key pages: Homepage Company profile page Product page Marketplace Marketplace Layout Concept (Optional) Since the platform will also include a B2B wholesale marketplace, developers are encouraged (optional) to include a simple concept layout for the marketplace module. This could include a basic wireframe for: Marketplace homepage Wholesale listing page Seller profile page The goal is to illustrate how wholesale product offers, sellers, and filters would be presented to users. This does not need to be a full design. A simple structural layout or wireframe is sufficient. This does not need to be a final UI design. A basic wireframe or layout concept is sufficient to demonstrate the proposed structure and user experience.
