We are looking for an experienced BigCommerce developer to customize the order confirmation page of an e-Commerce site built on BigCommerce with a customized Cornerstone Light theme ([login to view URL]). Our intention is to add another step to checkout process in the confirmation page because of some hurdles to integrate the local payment gateways in the optimized one-page checkout. What we need is to retrieve the checkout information, and provide a payment button that will lead to a different gateway based on selected payment method. If the user selects "credit card", he will be shown three links directing to the credit card gateways but keep the other gateways hidden, if he selects the other option (MercadoPago, a Latin American digital wallet), the confirmation page will proivide a button to this gateway and keep the credit card gateway options hidden.
In both cases, the revamped order confirmation page should showcase the following information:
-Purchase summary with products, quantities, prices of each product and total amount of the purchase.
-Billing address details.
You can find the wireframe of the modified order confirmation page here: https://5ew31c.axshare.com/#id=rgl8ck&p=order_confirmation_1
Desktop version should contain the same information, we will take care of the layout.
This is a very basic version of the payment process due to time constraints to migrate the current e-commerce site of the client, but if we are satisfied with the results, the selected developer will likely be selected for further stages to enhance this process like going back to checkout page, send a confirmation email after the payment and show a thank you page with the purchase information among others.
Important considerations for the project:
-There is a time constraint to deliver a functional site to the client, although this is a project still on pipeline. There are other developers working on it, so we expect you to be a team player.
-The e-commerce site is for a client based in Uruguay and most of the site has been already translated to Spanish. Although fluent Spanish is not a requirement, at least some reading and writing knowledge to understand the purchasing process is needed.
-The site is developed in a modified version of Cornerstone Light, so working experience with this theme will be highly appreciated.
-Experience with payment gateways in Latin America will be highly appreciated (although it is not a requirement, we will provide you the links to the gateways).
This project will be the first of a series of e-commerce sites for clients based in Uruguay/Latin America that will need a migration from their current e-commerce sites to BigCommerce platform, so it is a great opportunity to stablish a long term working relationship with our company. Deliver a good result on time and you will be invited for further stages/projects with us.
