The hardest part of these ADU and addition projects is often translating initial sketches and notes into a fully coordinated Chief Architect model, so I start there. I build directly in Chief Architect, taking your proposed floor plan and site information and developing it into a clean, accurate 3D model with all elevations and sections defined. I will create the complete drawing set from this model, including all necessary plans, elevations, sections, and details, so the construction documents are ready. I will not be using any outside modeling software and then importing into Chief Architect; I build directly in the program so everything stays coordinated. Also, I will not be trying to offer design changes without your explicit direction, as this is a production drafting role.
