Exterior design advice for home

We are looking for design ideas to make this house look more modern or contemporary including colour recommendations. It is brick on the bottom and cladding on the top and we are looking to change both. Please note we live in a bush fire "flame zone" so materials are restricted to render over the bricks, metal cladding, tiles and brick. The house has flat roofs so we think this gives the opportunity to really change the look from a second story that is just sitting on the brick base. We are really wanting an integrated look that may be part cladding part render downstairs and cladding on top. Happy to mix and match but really want to change the look. We have more photos when we choose the right person. We would like to see example of previous work to get the right design approach of modern or contemporary.
