We are looking for good Windows Mobile and Android developers to write a mobile client for those platforms. The client will mirror the functionality of an existing (and well documented) Symbian S60 application, and utilize existing server application architecture.
The client will communicate with the server via web services - using HTTP with an XML serialization. The traffic between the client and server needs to be SSL encrypted. The server app hosts a set of commands that the client will carry out and report success or fail back to the server after execution.
An example of such a command can be "install application", "add contact" or "create bookmark" (the full set of commands will be available after project start, but you should have deep knowledge of Windows Mobile and/or Android to fill all of our requirements).
For the Windows Mobile client, we already have a limited set of these commands implemented, so here the focus lies with tying the command set with the server application, handling network traffic/errors etc.
On Android, there is no existing code, so that client will have to be written from scratch. Most likely you will need some knowledge of the Android NDK. Limited Android SDK knowledge will not be enough to work on this project.
