Photoshop Script/ Apple Script/ Or Small Apple Program
Any of the methods is fine. I need solutions to convert a PDF of multiple pages of with embedded JPEGs to a folder of JPEGs. It will need to detect the total number of pages, take the first and the last page (last page on the left, first page on the right) and put them together to make one JPEG. Ignore pages 2, 3, and 4 and toss the data, make page five one stand alone as a JPEG. Starting at page 6, the program or script will need to take the even page and the odd page and put them together to make one spread (JPEG), even page on the left, odd page on the right. This will continue until the fifth from the last page. The fifth to the last page will be a stand alone JPEG, the 4th, 3rd and 2nd to the last page will be tossed.
This is to convert a PDF book made by another program into JPEGs so they can be printed at a photo lab. The user will choose the PDF to be converted and will be given a series of JPEG images in one folder from the program.
I will provide one test PDF, when you have completed the Script or Program, you will provide the JPEGs. I will provide a second test. You will return the JPEGs and give me a limited version of the script or program that will only output a certain amount of the pages. I will test it and if it works as promised I will pay the remaining fee into escrow and when you provide the full program and I will release the escrow funds.
I also need a version that will run without tossing some of the pages out.
I will provide two PDFs, as there will be two kinds of PDFs.
The second version will be as follows. The functionality will be the same.
The first page and the last page will be joined as one JPEG, (First on right, last on left)
The second page and the second to last page will be stand alone JPEGs.
All other pages starting at page 3, will have the odd and even pages joined as one JPEG, with the even on the left and the odd on the right, pages 4 and 5 will be combined to one JPEG, 6 and 7, 8 and 9, etc.
