Help study software protection scheme/Aladdin HASP protection systems
Additional Skills: experience using debugging tools to trace the execution of the program, using breakpoints/hooking, and reverse engineering is a plus
I have been studying activation protection schemes used in some software packages. One in particular has me stumped with how it operates. It is believed to be operating with an Aladdin HASP protection system.
I'm looking for someone to help examine one final area of the protection scheme with me and hopefully find what I'm missing so I can continue my research.
Contact me for a link to download the file (35Megs). Contains instructions to what I have learned so far. Estimated time for this project is about 4 hours. Probably much less if you know what you are doing (unlike me).
I will pay a minimal of $250 for your time and help assuming you can actually help. First come first serve.
I NEED TO HAVE A WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU. THIS IS IMPORTANT. I CANT PLAY GAMES WITH THREE DAYS INBETWEEN EMAILS. IF YOU CANT DEVOTE TIME, THEN DONT WASTE MY TIME AND SAY YOU CAN DO THIS PROJECT.
***DO NOT TELL ME YOUR ALMOST FINISH--EITHER YOU CAN COMPLETE THE PROJECT AND IT IS COMPLETLY FINISHED OR DONT BOTHER EMAILING ME TELLING ME YOU ALMOST HAVE IT - I SIMPLY WILL NOT RESPOND!! I AM ON A LIMITED TIME SCHEDULE***
I will only work with one person at a time till the project is completed. I can communicate via Private Message, Skype, or IM. Email is also an option, but real time communication is prefered.
