I would like to get the attached slope indicator modified to provide some additional output.
The output I'm looking for are slope values pulled from the indicator line.
Is there any way to pull "Y" values off the indicator slope line at a given point in time? If I was a betting man, I'd bet there is. The "Y" values would have to correspond to a price directly across from the slope line.
The "X" values are a given. You could use the time frame.
Now you have everything you need to create a slope value.
For example, let's say price was 1.44000 one bar back and 1.43800 two bars back on the 4H time frame. The slope would be 1.44000 - 1.43800 / 4 = .0001
Let's do another example, let's say price was 1.43820 one bar back and 1.43800 two bars back. The slope would be 1.43820 - 1.43800 / 4 = .00005. A much smaller slope value representing a more horizontal line and a value you could filter out in an EA if you wanted to.
I would have to have these values available from a buffer.
Could you do this? If so, how much would you charge?
