Alright I actually know both C# and C++ but I am extremely busy and don't have time to develop this. I know the amount of work it will take and its not a giant huge amount. I am looking for software that I can take and map certain fields in a csv or excel file and be able to compare them to a invoice. Basically what we are doing is taking a Handheld scanner and scanning a UPC code and typing in a quantity. This is when we are receiving shipments at our retail store. We then need to be able to import a file that has the UPC, Quantity, and Cost and be able to compare it to a inputting Invoice that includes the UPC, Quantity and Cost. If the amount received doesn't match the amounts shipped then I need it to spit out a report basically showing me what isn't showing so lets say I receive item 7910523036 and type in a quantity of 3 in the back room but then on my invoice it is showing a quantity of 4 or it isn't even on my invoice I need it to say either Not on Invoice and list the item information or have it show Invalid Quantity and like Quantity Billed = x Quantity Received = x. The invoices can be put into either Excel format or you can have a spot for us to type the invoice into the program. You will need to write different forms of knowledge behind it for issues with it not being on a invoice or cost's not matching what they should or quantitys not matching or whatever it may be. I can give a sample of data and a sample of invoice upon starting the project. I need a test software in 1 week time from starting the project. I understand that the software may take 2 -3 weeks to complete but I need to see progress... Quicker the better. Basically what we are doing is scanning in received orders from a vendor and then we need to be able to compare them to a actual invoice that we are being billed for. We use Cipherlab Handhelds but I can export the data to a CSV file from them with the Price UPC and Quantity. UPCS can be either 12 digits or 13 digits. so basically each line scanned needs to be searched through the invoice data to first see if it exists and then check the cost and quantities billed.
