We are seeking a freelancer who is very proficient with writing code for silverlight and .NET applications. This initial project is the first of many more to come. We have a list a mile long!
We would like to create a program with a silverlight interface that will allow us to automagically generate proposals. This web based application needs to allow for products and services to be added into a database. these products and services will then be selected and then prepared in a neat and formatted proposal. We have examples of proposal output that we share withe the succesfull bidder.
The quote tool / proposal generator will eventually be embedded into a web portal requiring Active Directory credentials to login to the portal.
The proposal generator (PG) should allow for components to be added through a wizard style interface. Each questions will have an outcome of the final content and pricing. We need to be able to generate our own components and wizards in the future.
Each proposal should be exported into a Word 2010 or PDF format and an option to submit to [url removed, login to view] should also be included as an option.
We obviously need to collect customer information for each proposal and each proposal should be stored for later reference or editing through a version control system.
We have a lot of content built in Word 2010 using the fields of ask and ref. It will be good to continue with this but happy to change if need be. We want to be able to change the master content files behing each section with an option to add it as an appendix or include in the main body of the proposal.
We will be wanting to use the succesfull bidder on more projects in the very near future. your skills as a programmer, interface designer and communicator will be taken into consideration for the winning bidder.
Some key points:
The back-end needs to run on a Windows 2008 R2 server
Silverlight 4 or higher
The use of very user friendly controls is a must!
simple to manage administration of content, componenets and wizards.
Our proposals are broken into the following pricing areas.
Setup Fees (hosted services)
Monthly Access Charges (hosted services)
I hope this is enough information. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask.
