Would like an add-in programming for powerpoint 2003,2007and 2010.
Idea is to create a small gui that allows the user to draw a freeform line on top of an image. This already exists.
What I need is a way to 'snap' the drawn line to the image it sits above. Then it should allow the user to be able to smooth the line to the smoothness of their choice.
The idea has come about because I spend a lot of time drawing lines on images in ppt, it is hard work making them appear to track along the features of the image.
The criteria for the 'auto-tracking' would be along a chosen colour, edge of colour or along a maximum intensity/hue. Think of a picture of water surface ripples ([url removed, login to view]) - the line should track along the peaks and troughs of the waves.
I would want full ownership of the codes such that I could sell the product.
