Garmin Avionics have an ability to interface wirelessly and enable 2 way communications between the on-board Garmin equipment and a 3rd party apps such as ForeFlight or Garmin Pilot. Their protocol is called "Connext" and is undocumented and proprietary. I'm seeking someone familiar with the protocols involved in this technology to develop an API that I can use for a personal project. The final delivery will be a sample app that is able to communicate GPS, AHRS, weather, traffic, and flight plan data wirelessly over a Bluetooth connection to a Garmin device using the Connext protocol. The delivered source code should not have any 3rd party dependencies, and can be delivered in C, C++, or C#.
I will be able to validate the delivered product on my personal aircraft and garmin equipment, but I am unable to provide any test equipment or any details on how Garmin's Connext API works. Please only respond if you are familiar with the technologies involved and are reasonably certain you can deliver a solution.
