We have a License Key generator written in C with the format attached as a PNG file. Currently there is a 32 bit Checksum for the key. We need to use some of the 80 bits available from the key to use as a customer number. So we want to remove 8 bits from the Checksum for any key generated or decrypted after today's date. The Date is included as part of the License key generation. Hence
if ([login to view URL] > August 7th 2018)
Customer number should be an extra input into the command line, if none is specified it should default to zero.
I have ~7 years of experience in C/C++ and over 3 in C#. I also write some Python code and recently Haskell, so I can do the task easily. Please contact me to discuss the details. Could you show me the C code?
