I need to modify this sketch which is a PID motor controller.

I would like to implement the following features:
1. Motor should stop whitin a time (acording to actual pwm output) if no feedback is received from encoder.
2. Brake should open before moving and closes after with a fixed delay time.
3. A endstop switch is added to know when motor is working out of range. It should first stop motor, then move into working range and then restart normal working.
More details will be provided to interested people.
I forget another feature:
4. Status led. this just a 3 color led to show if system is conected. running or in error.
