The "CCL" python package ([login to view URL], Python wrapping c code) that is used in astronomy, and currently does not support Windows. This project is to make it build, install and run in Windows in a robust way maintaining full existing compatibility with mac and Linux. Your changes should be well tested, pass all the unit tests, and be directly mergeable into the latest trunk and become live on conda forge. Note that it might not be entirely trivial. You will need to understand cmake: it can assume either the free Visual Studio or MingW64 compiler are installed on Windows but should use standard cmake as far as possible and should not require a unix subsystem. You only need to support 64 bit.
