I need a simple midi controller based on a US Digital S1-512-B rotary encoder.
The controller needs to output the following continuous controller data via USB midi:
1 to 64 for clockwise rotation. The faster the rotation the higher the number.
65 to 128 for counter clockwise rotation. The faster the rotation the higher the number.
It needs to be most sensitive in the slow rotation range.
Because of the low resistance of the encoder it can turn very fast.
This could be done with an arduino but doesn't have to. The encoder needs +5v.
I don't need any type of case.
