I'm building a mobile 2D multiplayer game using Unity3D and I would like a Freelancer to create the player movement functions.
There are three (3) movements: left - right - jump
- The more a player walks into one direction the more he moves fast.
- The more he moves fast, the more he jumps higher.
- A player can move left and right while in the air.
- The player movements must be real smooth and stop as soon as Unity intercepts the key_up signal.
The functions must be developed in C#
As well as developing those functions, you must provide the algorithm to calculate the next player player's coordinate position. Your algorithm must not use any function from any C# lib (mathf excepted) or Unity lib. You may use any web oriented language library (JS/Python...) library.
Exemple:
void MyPlayerMoveLeft(){
//Player will move left once when this function is called
// You can use any function you want
}
float MyPlayerNewXPosition(){
// You can't use any unity function and c# lib except mathf lib
return (NewPlayerX);
}
If MyPlayerNewXPosition() is called, it will return what the next player's X coordinate would have been if MyPlayerMoveLeft() would have been called.

I've made scripts like this in Unity before, I have not tried with a dynamic speed which is an interesting game mechanic. I should be able to get all of this done within 3 days, without any outside assets. I can give you the full script once complete and the scene used for making the script. I'm also assuming that you want to be able to modify the rate of change of each direction within the Unity editor. I will only use the built in Unity object movement functions(.transform, etc.) and built-in C# mathematic functions. If I missed anything please let me know.
