Hi, We're looking forward building a small benchtop injection molding machine for small runs of plastic parts. We want a mechanical engineer to take that project requirements and deliver 3D models and manufacturing drawings for us. He should also do whatever analysis to make sure everything will work fine. He'll also instruct during the build of the actual machine. If he's local in Europe it might be easier just to visit :). Machine size should not exceed 1000 x 400 x 400 mm. It should be able to make parts of size 150x150 mm and it should be able to run through 220V power supply. A separate engineer will be hired for the electronics, no worries about that. Molds are going to have a custom outline, that needs to be determined by the successful candidate. Not much of a mold design experience needed, just the basics for the mounting and ejection. We may hire more than one for this job, if required. We want to get it done in 3 months or so. Budget is open so you can enter whatever you want. Please be detailed in your cover letter.

Hello, I have 25 years’ experience designing machinery and structures. I can make the design, drawings and analysis for this injection moulding machine in SolidWorks. I have vast experience making technical workshop drawings and overall knowledge with drawing standards such as tolerances, surface finish, etc. I do not have experience with injection moulding or designing these machines, but I recently designed harvesting machine without any knowledge about the process.
