I’m purchasing a self-storage facility in Valle Vista and will want to expand that facility with additional buildings. I’m looking to max out the parcel with as many storage units as possible with whatever the county requires for setbacks, internal and external traffic, parking (if needed) and storm water retention. I do not need exact measurements at this time. I think there is enough information from the scaled parcel map to draw up different mass models.
There are two scenarios I would like to investigate with respects to Parcel “J”:
1) Keeping the existing building and seeing how much additional building we can get
2) Demolishing the existing building and seeing how much building we can get.
I have attached a building layout document. It will give you an idea of what sort of building we would need dimension wise. Having access to units on both sides of the building is important but other than that the shape and quantity can change.
