I have a complete set of architectural and structural drawings for a mid-rise building (between four and seven floors) and I need an experienced quantity surveyor to turn them into a clear, defensible Bill of Quantities focused on concrete and formwork. Your scope begins with a precise take-off: calculate the contact surface (foot) of formwork for every floor, then determine concrete volumes for all slabs, beams, columns and walls. I will share the PDFs/CAD files, grid lines and typical section details so you can extract dimensions directly—feel free to use Bluebeam, CostX, PlanSwift, Revit or any other digital take-off tool you prefer, as long as the final numbers balance when spot-checked. Once the measurements are complete, translate them into a well-structured Schedule of Values. Break costs down by floor and by structural element so each line can be tied back to a corresponding measurement sheet. I will rely on this schedule for progress billing, so clarity is essential. If you would like to flag staircases or other items for future phases, note them only as optional extras—do not embed them in the main totals. I will review by sampling take-offs against the drawings and verifying that the consolidated volumes reconcile with the element summaries. If they align, the milestone is approved; if discrepancies exceed standard rounding tolerances, I will return the sheet for revision.
