Must have significant experience with both guiding editorial content and writing a substantial amount of copy in our distinctive brand voice. The ability to generate a steady stream of creative ideas and also write with a flair and wit is key to this role.
Will be tasked with support in building stories across all platforms and communication opportunities including editorial stories, blogs, newsletters, social media and collaborations.
Must understand how to balance creativity in written copy as well as deliver projects on time over tight deadlines.
A creative, organized and multi-tasking individual capable of working on many different projects simultaneously will thrive in this role. A strong digital background is preferred, and the role demands a passion for health, wellness, writing and culture.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies).
Write clear copy to promote and ensure consistency in strategy and communication around product / event / story focus
Write and edit headlines, subject lines, and body copy for blogs, newsletters, banners and social media
Oversee social media activity from both a content as well as caption standpoint in terms of strategy, photo references, and initiatives that are in line with the editorial calendar.
Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
Submit work to editors for input and approval.
Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone).
Update website content as needed.
