# Convert indicator to EA

Hi Irwin

I have a project that I would like you to quote for, converting an existing indicator that I have, MQL4 source code into an EA.

The indicator determines currency strength of the index's and and the Gap which is the difference between the index strength for the pairs.

I require the EA to trade either a complete basket of pairs on a given signal or a group of pairs, be able to trade a user defined amount of trades per pair within a user defined timeframe. A hidden take profit would also be usefull.

User defined options.

1. Choose two currencys to compare, ie USD and GBP

2. Choose a strength value for both Long and Short for each currency. ie, USD +2.6 for long GBP +3.3 for long, and USD +6.1 for short and GBP +4.6 for short.

6. For each pair nominate a GAP value for both long and short.

7. Determine start stop time for EA

8. Determine how many trades per pair within a certain time, ie, max 3 trades per pair within 2 hour timeframe.

Example.

AUDUSD,EURUSD,GBPUSD,NZDUSD,AUDJPY,CHFJPY,EURJPY,GBPJPY,

Currency strength pair USD GBP

Strength Long USD =< 2.6

Strength Short USD =>6.3

Strength Long GBP =<3.2

Strength Short GBP =>5.7

Gap for Long all pairs =>3.0

Gap for Short all pairs =<-3.0

Hidden take profit 12

Hidden stoploss 12

Time before next signal 2 hours

Assume a possible short signal from the indicator, of USD 6.5 and GBP 5.7

Next check GAP of all pairs within the basket

If all basket pairs have a gap =<-3.0 for short

If the current price on all the basket pairs on the 1 min timeframe are less than the current 1 min open, then a trade is placed on all the basket pairs with a hidden take profit and stoploss.

If the gap is not correct for the whole basket then the USD and JPY basket are checked seperately, so if JPY has the correct gap for for the pairs in the JPY basket and ALL PAIRS in the main basket again have the current price less than the 1min current open then a short trade is placed on all the pairs within the JPY basket.

I have attached the indicator to this message for you to look at.

Regards

Andy
