I am after an English and Arabic-speaking designer/typesetter to create an Arabic version of 172-page English-language report from an InDesign CS4 original. Please review PDF of report before applying.
Final Arabic report must be an identical copy of the English, so a high level of copy-fitting, layout and typesetting proficiency is required, as is superior attention to detail.
Job to proceed in two stages:
1. Initial layout to be completed by October 11. Typesetter to provide proofs by chapter for in-progress review and approvals.
2. Revisions after client review. Typesetter to work from annotated PDF files to complete 1-3 rounds of minor proofreading corrections.
Upon final approval, typesetter to deliver two sets of press-ready and Web-resolution PDFs (with and without hyperlink underlines, for print-based and online distribution) and a packaged set of artwork (with links, fonts, etc.).
I have the full translation and indesign copy ready ...just typesetting professionally ...confirm that you will be able to complete the project this week--by Friday October 11 5PM EST (New York time), and confirm that you can show in-progress work for comment on Tuesday October 8 midday (around 2PM NY time would be ideal).
Notes: Not all pull-quotes included in the Word file were actually used in the layout, and not all of them appear in the same locations--which is why we needed someone who speaks Arabic to match content. I can also provide the English-language Word files, since they match the Arabic files exactly and may make it easier to find/match content. Finally, the Excel file of picture captions is organized by link name--meaning the file name of the actual photo/image placed into the InDesign file.
