The theme site which is constructed as a blog is in fact an Airgreenland campaign – ”Powered by Airgreenland.” The purpose of the site is to increase the sales of tickets with Airgreenland, but to the user it must seem like a blog where the content is delivered by the the users, independently of Airgreenland.
Credibility is key to get the users to feel comfortable with the website.
It’s paramount to keep a fine balance in the way Airgreenland is connected to the site. It’ can’t say Airgreenland all over the site, but at the same time it’s important to keep in mind what the purpose of the website is: to sell airline tickets!
Therefore it’s important that we get content from many different destinations and different sources and at the same time make sure that Greenland overall is the most prominent destination.
The Copywriter Task
The task of the copywriters is to deliver articles that describe a number of activities that can be experiences in Greenland and also in at least one other place in the World.
It is extremely important that the user get the idea that it’s a ”real” blog article – self-experienced which the writer want to share with fellow adventure travelers. The articles cannot give the impression that is a promotional article for a destination or a certain tour operator.
It is not permitted to copy from other travel blogs like the ones mentioned below but getting inspiration from those is a good idea!
