I require somebody to write a series of small stories that can be translated to the stage.
Essentially, I own a fitness company aimed at kids between 5-12 years of age. I am introducing a weekly program that runs in schools for approximately 45 minutes. The program has a theatrical component to it (combining music and movement) and I am looking for someone to write me a series (8) of fitness related stories that are both fun and engaging.
Points to note:
- The story/show will be presented by only 1 person.
- The shows contain music and movement elements which will make up about half of the show (I will look after the music/movement component) so the story should be able to go for approximately 20 minutes.
- The stories must be creative and fun. Ideas I have had already include shows based around a fitness hero character who has lost his powers. It is then the responsibility of the children to work through tracks (with different focuses eg. muscle groups) to bring back the hero's powers.
- If I was to compare this program to something in the market now, the Australian TV shows PUzzle Play and Hi-5 would be most similar.
If you have creative writing skills and fun ideas I would love to hear from you. This could be an exciting opportunity as there will be the requirement for similar skills down the track.
Please message me if interested.
