We have been creating 5 simulated "ACT" science exams. Each science test has 40 questions each, for a total of 200 science problems.
We seek one or two teachers/professors who each have strong scientific backgrounds to work with us in the editing phase this coming week.
You will carefully review each and every problem, problem explanation, and associated reading passages, looking for technical mistakes, ambiguities, and/or wording/grammatical usage issues.
Considerable familiarity with the ACT exam is preferred.
**Please tell us about your relevant science and teaching/tutoring background.**
You will be given "reviewer access" via our proprietary test content management system. Via this system you will communicate with the writer himself as he finalized the work. It is like a threaded conversation for each problem. Once you are satisfied, you click on a checkbox to approve the problem.
note: Submitted content in our system is formatted using LaTeX.
A mild degree of familiarity with LaTeX would be helpful, but it is not required.
We are confident that any competent science teacher can easily learn the minimal amount of LaTeX syntax that is needed to make sense of the content.
fyi, this is a good resource to familiarize with LaTeX:
