This project is for a part time customer support/sales telephone agent. The client is [url removed, login to view] The client needs someone to return phone calls from prospects. Usually the calls are pre-sale, when a client has asked for a phone call to explain the product or ask additional questions. The calls are very easy, usually just a few questions. Sometimes the customer simply wants to pay over the phone rather than online. Sometimes we have started an order for a client but they have not paid, and so you are calling to ask if they want to complete the order and pay. Most calls result in voicemail. This is not cold-calling, this is very easy work. The owner needs to focus more time on growing the business rather than making calls.
The right person for this job will be friendly and service-oriented. You need to have a good telephone or VOIP solution. You must have a perfect command of the American language, including slang and casual conversation. Slight accents are acceptable but you must be easy to understand. There are approximately one hour of calls per day, but this could increase as the client grows the business. You need to have access to IM software to communicate with other employees.
The client will pay a flat rate plus a bonus. Compensation could be based on per call, per hour, or weekly basis. Bonuses will be paid based on the productivity of the calls.
