As the Direct Response Copywriter, you’ll be primarily responsible for managing and executing our email strategy, including developing creative content, revenue-generating emails and sequences, as well as sales funnels and landing pages.
Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts.
Revise existing and create new email sequences to drive performance and revenue
Develop 5-7 email campaigns per week, focused on both strong storytelling and revenue generation
Conduct A/B testing and make decisions according to the collected data.
Develop reporting solutions to measure and optimize performance.
Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach.
Work with internal teams to ensure email strategy ladders up to brand priorities and campaigns
Work closely with the design team to ensure content reflects brand guidelines
Develop sales funnels, landing pages, and other sales copy as needed to support our campaigns and digital properties
BS/BA degree in any relevant discipline.
2-3 years of proven experience in direct response and long-form copy.
Strong storytelling skills in emotional/psychological engagement.
Proven track record in developing and executing email strategies, developing sales funnels, and sequences
Native English speaker.
Proficiency in Klaviyo is an asset.
SEO experience is an asset
