I am looking for someone to write 10 short, simple ESL idiom lessons of approximately 150 words each based on an established pattern. See an example below. Each lesson will have a short section on idiom meaning, example sentences, example dialogue, and practice suggestions. If the first 10 lessons work out well, there's a possiblity for more.
Cold turkey is a disagreeable state caused when someone suddenly and completely stops doing something that they are addicted to or dependent on. It is most often used with drugs. We usually say that someone quits cold turkey or goes cold turkey. If we quit cold turkey, we suddenly stop using the drug.
