I require the development of a bi-fold (six panel) brochure that I can send to our printer for printing. I will be responsible for providing the copy.
What I need is someone adept not only at the technical aspects of design, but with experience and capability in the creative design of the brochure from an aesthetics perspective. I've worked with graphic designers in the past who were very capable as graphic designers, but required entirely too much direction on the design itself.
I want to hire more than expertise, I want to hire creativity and adeptness with space and color.
The brochure will have certain requirements: must generally incorporate key colors set out by our parent company; must be visually appealing; images (which designer will source and propose, and we will pay for if necessary) must be pertinent to the target audience.
The completed file must meet the printing specs of our printer re: resolution, format, etc. This will be a high-quality glossy print job.
This job must include transfer of the final file in Illustrator, Photoshop, or whatever other package you use for design such that we have the ability to edit ourselves in the future (though the successful bidder will likely get additional future business if we're pleased with the project).
I want to reiterate, I am looking for creative input as much as technical prowess. You must be willing and able to propose based upon specs provided after awarding of contract, and make further versions as necessary.
To be considered, bidder MUST have a portfolio of similar design-for-print work available for viewing.
I do hope that the above information is clear enough, but will be pleased to answer any questions that will assist bidders in making what they think is a fair and reasonable bid.
