New Corporate Logo Design

I am looking for a creative designer to create a new corporate logo for our company, which is an Intellectual Property Law Firm.
The primary message of the logo should convey professionalism, and I have specific colors in mind that should be used. In terms of style, I prefer a minimalist design with abstract elements. The end result should be an eye-catching logo that expresses the values of my company clearly and concisely.
The firm name YIP Legal. We are currently known as Y Intellectual Property, but looking to shift to the new name. Examples of our current branding and logo can be found at www.yiplegal.com.au.
For the new logo:
a. we would like to keep the font bold and in a simple font. We are willing to consider presentation of the name in both lower case (ie. yip legal) or mix of upper case and lower case (ie. YIP Legal or YIP LEGAL).
b. the YIP is an acronym for Y Intellectual Property, so would be good for the logo to come across as an acronym rather than the word "yip". I don't mind if yip is in lower case, so long as there is some differentiation between the Y and the IP (eg. use of different colours).
c. I would also like the letter Y to be able to use as a separate logo device element on its own.
d. I would also like a variation of the logo with the tagline "Superior IP Services".
e. I would like to use dark blue or navy as the primary colour scheme.
