Create macOS Installer with checks and conditions

I am a macOS system developer. I do have experience creating installers, using Apple PackageMaker, as well as Packages and Iceberg. This includes writing preflight/preinstall and postflight/postinstall bash scripts and even installer plugins (these are binary bundles that can be executed during the installation procedure, when regular bash scripting is not enough). For what it’s worth I also created .app - based installers, that mimic OS X native installer (the one that installs macOS itself). This is needed when you require a highly customized UI. An uninstaller is normally an AppleScript, compiled into an .app bundle (or, if more than a simple dialog “would you like to uninstall the app?” Is required it can be made as a full fledged Cocoa app). It also must be signed. I noticed that you require installing into both user home directory (~/Library) and /Applications (that requires root access). This can be a bit tricky, especially on older systems when using PackageMaker (it requires both acquiring admin rights and switching to the current user’s context), but can be done. What systems are you targeting?
