Freelancer agrees that funds will not be released until the following have been completed in AJAX:
*Custom search by any category (drop down box next to text-input box)
*List by letter or year number
*English and Spanish Results separated
*48 hour "cooling off" period after work is complete to make sure everything is working correctly.
I have a chess website that has many articles that include videos in them. I'd like to make a page on my website where people can search through the articles with videos in them based on different Wordpress custom fields that I will put into each of the articles. The results don't need to be anything fancy, just a simple bullet list. I'd like the results to be AJAXed but using wordpress's built in implementation search feature is a possibility as well.
Things to keep in mind:
I'd like as a secondary option to the search for there to be an option to list the articles by letter such as [A] [B] [C] ( etc for each specific category.
These are a sample of the following categories:
How to be a grandmaster series (TRUE/FALSE)
Beginner Chess Series (TRUE/FALSE)
BUGHOUSE SERIES (True/False)
Chess Opening Used (Name, can have more than one)
Year (Number, can have more one)
Player Name (First, Last, can have more than one)
Sometimes a posting has more then one video, which will lead to quite a few "many-to-many" situations:
A chess opening can have more then one article and an article can have more then one chess opening
An article can have more then 2 different years (because they have more then video)
One more thing to keep in mind. I have a bilingual website (both English and Spanish) that is running on WPML. I'll need the lists to only pull the articles for the correct language. Many plugins already seem to do this automatically using some kind of "wordpress hooks" If these queries don't automatically know to only include results in a specific language perhaps we could solve it by using different custom fields for the Spanish articles.
I'm currently on a wordpress 3.X install with PHP 5.2 and mySQL.
Sorry this is a bit hard to explain, I've made a VIDEO here with more information that might help you guys understand this project
